Published: 25 Oct 2017

REDinc. Artists (from L-R): Nathan Gooley, Jen Lowry and Justine Rose (with Pete Dickson’s winning entry at Jen’s feet)

REDinc.artist, Jennifer Lowrey, won first prize in the category of: Issues in Contemporary Life.   In that same category Peter Dickson and Justine Rose were commended.  It must be noted that in this category all winners were REDinc. artists!  Nathan Gooley’s work was also highly commended in the category of Portraits.

A huge congratulations to all the winners and REDinc.’s 14 exhibiting artists.

The Coraki Art Prize

Two artists who we’d also like to feature from the studio are Bec King and John Rose. Both Bec and John are entering the two art prizes this year. Bec King is entering the Coraki Art Prize with her painting Pelican, painted with acrylic on canvas in her meticulous dot style and John Rose with his abstract painting ‘In the Night‘, which he is entering in the TURSA Art prize this year. John really loves to explore colour and form in his work and has developed a really unique style in the last few years since he’s been working in the studio.
