🌊 Exciting times at REDinc! Our School Leavers Employment Support Program has been hard at work upskilling our employable skill set at Sea World Resort.

Over the past two days, our participants have gained hands-on experience in the tourism industry, exploring various departments including concierge service, reception, warehousing, commercial kitchen, and housekeeping.

A huge shoutout to Sea World for the incredible opportunity! We’re proud of our young job seekers as they take steps towards a bright future. 💼✨ @seaworldresort

The Mullumbimby ‘All Abilities Fishing Group’

The Mullumbimby ‘All Abilities Fishing Group’ has been having a fantastic time out on the river this month!

It’s wonderful to experience the joy of fishing, enjoy the outdoors, and make new friends together.

The group meets from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM on the third Saturday of every month from February to November. If you’d like to join us, please reach out to our Mullumbimby centre at 0401 793 554.

🚤✨ This week, the School Leavers Employment Support group set sail on the “Kayle” from Southport Yacht Club! 🏆

The “Kayle” previously took part in this year’s Sydney to Hobart Boxing Day yacht race and includes staff members with disabilities or who are vulnerable.
We had an amazing day learning about teamwork and what it truly means to collaborate effectively. These skills are incredibly valuable as we prepare for new workplaces.

🍳 Our cooking class is sewing their own aprons and cooking together as part of our new Women’s Group program. Hazel and Stevie are rocking their aprons!
🌿 The Garden Club is hard at work repotting plants, with Dan and Gav teaming up for some green-thumb action.
⚽ Noele, Hazel, and Cameron are having a blast with a game of Boccia in our new outdoor activity program.
