Jarjum Mirr Bulaangii – Bringing Our Children Together

Hello from the Jarjum Mirr Bulaangii – Bringing Our Children Together Team

Jarjum Mirr Bulaangii – Bringing Our Children Together takes its name from Bundjalung language, generously shared with us by Uncle Gilbert Laurie. While the name is new, our focus stays the same: supporting children to feel safe, connected, and confident — both in school and in life.

About the Program

Funded by the Department of Social Services as part of the Communities for Children (CFC) initiative, and locally facilitated by YWCA Australia, Jarjum Mirr Bulaangii works with children aged 6–12 attending Lismore and Goonellabah Primary Schools.
Delivered by REDinc since 2015, the program focuses on strengthening relationships, building resilience, and supporting children’s social and emotional wellbeing — in school and beyond.
