Despite REDinc. losing practically everything during the Lismore Flood in March 2017, one handful of things escaped the ruination:  all the REDinc. artists’ amazing artworks put to one side for the impending Byron Bay incREDible Art Exhibition at the Lone Goat Gallery!  With the date for the opening night fast looming (just days after the flood!) it was a frantic race to get everything together.  Sadly, these were the only REDinc. artworks to have survived the flood.

The event went ahead as planned on Friday 7th April thanks to the extraordinary efforts of REDinc. Art Director, Josie Donnelly, Artists in Residence, Renee Bolten and Claudie Frock, REDinc. staff, Maddie and her daughter, the Lone Goat Gallery Director, Andrew and all the wonderful volunteers.  It was an incredible effort by an outstanding group of people who forged ahead and overcame the adversity of the previous days.

The night was well attended by at least a hundred art-lovers.  By the end of the event there were red dots everywhere (no, not too much wine!) showing sales for the REDinc. artists.

A huge well done to the artists who worked tirelessly on their work throughout the last 12 months for this exhibition.  We are so very proud of all the artists’ achievements and excited to see what the future holds for all: CONGRATULATIONS!
